Co-Owner and Vice-President
Mr. Richard Geer was elected an officer of Geer Services in 2004 and currently serves as Executive Vice President for the corporation. In this position Richard provides creative direction for our graphic design services and is responsible for our web design and web hosting services for our external customers and the Geer Services corporate presence. He designed the Geer Services logo, consisting of the circle g and three sub circles, that is now a Geer Services, Inc. registered trademark.
Prior to Geer Service, Mr. Geer served in the Florida Air National Guard in an active-duty position providing Computer Graphic services to support the counter drug program in northeast Florida. In that position, Richard provided graphic design, web development and Geographic Information System (GIS) software support for spatial data analysis.
Richard retired from the Florida Air National Guard after 20 serving years. Mr. Geer holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. Richard was awarded the Distinguished Honor Graduate of the Defense Information School’s Graphics Course in 2000. Then TSgt. Geer won the first-place award in a National Guard Media Contest for his 60th Anniversary of the Air Force cover for the Eagle’s Eye publication awarded by the National Guard Bureau in Washington DC in 2007.
Richard has also attended portrait and realism classes taught by Dru Blair to expand his artistic skills and is an avid drummer and records digital drum tracks with musicians via the internet.
