While returning from meeting with an Atlanta client, I decided to visit the Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB at Warner Robins, Georgia. The visit took a little longer than I planned because the facility was so large. The museum had all of the aircraft Richard and I supported during our Air Force careers. In addition, they had one of the planes I flew to basic training at Lackland AFB, a C-124 Globemaster II. Take a look at some of the photos, we supported the T-33, F-102, F-106, F-16 and F-15. All of these aircraft were on display.
If you travel I-75 between Jacksonville and Atlanta and you like military history, you should visit the Museum of Aviation, it’s a great tribute to aviation and the U. S. Air Force.
Hopefully Jacksonville will be able to establish a Naval Ship Museum on the riverfront downtown. Visit www.adams2jax.org to help support this initiative to preserve Naval history in Jacksonville. Also, when I visited our client in Atlanta, I found an Adams bumper sticker in their office! Thanks, Pat Geer
